About BinGo
Who we are, where the listings come from, and how the directory pays for itself.
BinGo is a directory of the businesses, councils and drop-off points that deal with waste in Zimbabwe — 169 of them so far, across 17 categories and every major city.
It exists because getting rid of something awkward here usually means asking around. Council collection runs to its own timetable, private collectors cover some suburbs and not others, and there is no single place that tells you who takes a broken fridge, a bakkie-load of rubble or a drum of used oil.
What’s on a listing
Where we have it: what the business does, which areas it serves, what it will and won’t accept, and how to reach it. Where we don’t, the listing says so rather than guessing.
How listings get here
The first set was researched from public sources — company websites, council registers, directory entries and news coverage. Listings we have confirmed directly carry a Verified badge. The rest are marked as unconfirmed on the page itself, and we’re working through them.
If a listing is yours, claim it and we’ll hand over the details. If something is wrong, tell us and we’ll fix it.
How BinGo makes money
Basic listings are free and always will be. Businesses can pay for a Featured or Partner listing to appear higher in their category and city. That doesn’t change what the directory says about them.
